In March 2010, PWR created a fundraising event in Scottsdale, Arizona to raise awareness and to add to  legal defense fund for the Navy Seals accused of abusing terrorists. Maritime Tactical Security is worked with us to promote the cause and provide the stewardship of donations for the Navy SEALs Fund.

In February 2010, PWR hosted a raffle for the Black Powder Project.  

On the 1st of May, 2009 Kaplan Companies, the Developer of The District at Mountain Vistas, will open its’ brand new luxury apartment complex in Mesa. As a part of their philosophy of give back to the community, Kaplan Companies has donated two, 2 bedroom/2 bath apartment to Military Families Foundation, Inc./Project “We Remember” for a year. Project “We Remember” will be identifying two National Guard, Reservist, or Veterans and their families to live in these units for the next 12 months.

Saturday March 28th, 2009 Project “We Remember” conducted our first Charity Texas Hold’em Poker Tournament at Ft. McDowell Casino.  None of these events are ever possible without the support and commitment of many volunteers.  For our first tournament we had a respectable turnout and one enormous amount of fun.

In January 2009, Hancock Communities donated a house to Project We Remember to provide long-term housing for disadvantaged U.S. military veterans and their families.
